Registration is now open for our forthcoming ECREA Film Studies conference “Reframing Postcolonialism and Cinema”, which will take place on 14 and 15 September in Nicosia, Cyprus. To register, follow this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/631385379667

The conference programme will be circulated soon. In the meantime, here is some useful information about travel and accommodation:
TRAVEL
We would advise you to travel to Larnaca International airport, as it is closer to Nicosia than Paphos airport. The bus service from the airport to Nicosia is called ‘Kapnos’ and the timetable can be found here: https://kapnosairportshuttle.com/
Other options include intercity buses or taxis, which from Larnaca airport to Nicosia will cost €50 approx.
CONFERENCE LOCATION
The conference will be held at the Main Building of the University of Nicosia. The campus is serviced by bus lines 11, 41, 42 – for detailed information, visit moovitapp.com
Because public transport can be unreliable, we will be providing a free bus service to the campus and back on both days of the conference. Details about pick up will be provided in due course.
ACCOMMODATION
If you will be using the conference’s free bus, it would be advisable to book your accommodation either in central Nicosia or in the old town of Nicosia, which is where the tour and the conference dinner will take place on the 14th.
